Vince DiPillo is a lifelong Delaware County resident and small business leader who has spent his career building a successful small business in Delaware County. He grew up in Drexel Hill, where his parents founded Drexel Business Machines in 1978. After graduating from Cardinal O’Hara High School in 1989, he went on to Drexel University, where his favorite course was Political Science, but left after his first year due to his father’s declining health. When his father passed away suddenly in 1998, Vince stepped into full leadership of the business at just 27 years old. Entirely self-taught, he mastered every facet of the operation over the decades that followed, from sales and accounting to payroll, human resources, and contract development. A highlight of that career was his long-running work with Aramark Corporation, where he managed the full project lifecycle from sales and site preparation through installation and issue resolution. He delivered innovative point-of-sale solutions, including some of the first contactless payment systems at Fortune 500 corporations across the country. Most recently he completed the Non-Profit Fundraising Certificate Program at Delaware County Community College in 2024.
Vince and his wife Jennifer, whom he married on September 1, 2001, have built their family and their life in Edgmont Township, Delaware County. They are the proud parents of twin sons, Vincent III and AJ, who attended school in the Rose Tree Media School District. Their daughter, Daphne, is currently a student there. Vince is also an independent investor in stocks, options, cryptocurrency, and real estate. A devoted dog lover, the DiPillo family has five dogs, and Vince has recently launched a new venture creating homemade dog food and treats.
Vince has been an active voice in Delaware County Democratic politics since 2022, serving as Chair of the Mid-County Democrats (representing Edgmont, Middletown and Upper Providence). Under his leadership, they achieved historic electoral victories. In 2023, Middletown Township Council flipped blue for the first time in modern history. In 2025, Edgmont Township followed suit, as did Magisterial Judge district 32-2-48.
Now stepping into the position of First Vice-Chair of the Delaware County Democratic Committee, Vince brings a clear and grounded mission: to help build a strong, inclusive Democratic Party in Delco. He believes deeply in the Democratic Party as a big tent, a home for people of every background and perspective, and is committed to fostering what he calls “little-d democracy” within the organization itself. He is guided by the words of Abbie Hoffman: “Democracy is not something you believe in or a place to hang your hat, but it’s something you do. You participate. If you stop doing it, democracy crumbles.”
