From the Delco Times, 25 July 2018,

“Delaware County Council approved a $115,000 contract with G-2 Integrated Solutions to conduct a risk assessment on the Mariner East 2 and Adelphia pipelines.

“It’s a good day for the citizens of Delaware County and I appreciate everyone working together on this,” county Councilman Brian Zidek said, after speaking about the reservations he had a couple of months ago about whether or not council would ever agree to get such an assessment.

Council deadlocked twice along party lines with Democrats Zidek and Kevin Madden voting for it and Republicans Colleen Morrone and Michael Culp voting against it, with Republican council Chairman John McBlain abstaining to prevent any appearance of conflict of interest as his law firm, Swartz Campbell, has done work for Sunoco. McBlain has not worked for the company.”
