House District 163 has always been home for Vince Rongione. Growing up on Darby Road in Havertown, Vince learned the importance of public service at an early age. His father served on the Haverford School Board and his mother was a community leader. It is this family commitment to public service that led Vince to seek public office.
Vince has experience fighting for working-class families. After graduating from Villanova Law School, Vince worked on Capitol Hill for Congressman Chris Carney. While there he worked on groundbreaking Wall Street reform legislation following the 2008 financial crisis that helped families keep their homes.
Vince is dedicated to fighting for issues that matter most to families in House District 163, including investing in the local economy and infrastructure, and saving community schools from the current funding crisis.
"We need a comprehensive set of new policies to get Pennsylvania back on track and put middle class families first again. We need to restore Corbett's cuts to education so our schools have the resources they need to succeed and more fairness in Harrisburg so oil and gas companies pay their fair share. Folks in the 163rd are getting the short end of the stick and that must change."
