The annual Delaware County Democratic Party Nominating
Convention will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Paxon
Hollow Country Club in Marple Township. The convention is free and open to all
Democrats. All committee members, regular, additional and ex oficio, are
entitled to vote to endorse candidates for Congress, State Senator and State
Representative.
The convention will be preceded by a cocktail party at 6:00 PM. Tickets are
$30.00 per person. To puchase tickets, send your check to:

Volunteers Needed This Weekend
Several volunteers are needed this Saturday, January 19th to
help out in the County Democratic Headquarters. We'll be assembling a small
mailing to the county committee regarding the upcoming Democratic Convention and
assembling petition materials for candidates, committee members and volunteers
who will be out gathering signatures on petitions over the next several weeks.
What:
Office Help at County Democratic Headquarters
104 S. Gayley Street in Media. Located at the corner of Gayley and Baker, around
the corner from the Media Theater, and in back of the Media Post Office.

Leach for State Senate Campaign Kickoff
With the retirement of State Senator Connie Williams in the
17th State Senate District, State Rep. Daylin Leach is launching his campaign to
keep the seat in the Democratic column. Please join him for a campaign kickoff!
