Save the Date: County Democratic Nominating Convention

The annual Delaware County Democratic Party Nominating Convention will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Paxon Hollow Country Club in Marple Township. The convention is free and open to all Democrats. All committee members, regular, additional and ex oficio, are entitled to vote to endorse candidates for District Attorney, County Council and Court of Common Pleas. The convention may also consider a county platform and a resolution on troop withdrawal from Iraq.

Congressman Joe Sestak is planning to address the convention.

The convention will be preceded by a cocktail party at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $25.00 per person. To puchase tickets, send your check to:

Stop the Escalation - Sign the Petition

Tell President Bush that his plan to rapidly escalate this war sends the wrong message to Iraqi leaders, provides no credible benchmarks or ways to measure progress and worst of all ignores the will of the American people.

Sign the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's petition to President Bush to tell him that you stand with the Democratic Leadership and that his plan is not the will of the people.
