Gene Karpinski, The President of the League of Conservation Voters will join Joe Sestak, the 7th Congressional District's NEXT Congressman, to announce the League's endorsement of Joe Sestak! You and and your like minded neighbors are invited to attend.

Debate Set between Farrell and Erickson
Mike Farrell, Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania State Senate in the 26 th District will meet his opponent, State Senator Edwin "Ted" Erickson, in a face to face debate.
The debate will be held at the Delaware County Community College Auditorium, 901 South Media Line Road , Marple Township, PA. on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
Phil Heron, editor of the Delaware County Daily Times, will serve as moderator. The debate will follow a format agreed upon by the candidates.
This will be the first debate in a race which many believe will be a close one this fall. The 26th District includes sections of both Delaware and Chester Counties. It borders the 19th District in which Democrat Andrew Dinniman recently upset his Republican opponent with a thirteen point victory. Please plan to attend this important event.

Volunteer - Fundraising Phone Banks
The county Democratic Party is seeking volunteers to help man phone banks in the evenings at our headquarters in Media to raise funds for party activities in support of our candidates, including Bob Casey for US Senate and Joe Sestak for US Congress. If you are interested in volunteering a few hours of your time on one or more of the following days for this project, please contact Tony Campisi at tcampisi@aol.com.
