Primary Day - Volunteer
Primary Election Day is Tuesday, May 16, 2006. We have
important Primary Contests with endorsed candidates, including Lt. Governor,
US Senate, and Democratic State Committee. If you are interested in greeting
voters at a polling place on Election Day, please respond to this email.
Polls are open throughout Delaware County from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and
volunteers are needed around the clock. Please spare a few hours and get
involved!
If you are a committee person working through your local committee there is
no need to reply. But if you are a volunteer and you have some time to help
out, please let us know. Reply to this email or call our county headquarters

Vote for Joe Sestak - TODAY!
Senator Barbara Boxer's (D-CA) PAC for a Change is currently conducting an
online vote, asking people to decide which two Democrats she will feature in
an upcoming fundraising email to her supporters. The PAC will solicit
contributions for one Democratic incumbent and one Democratic challenger. We
would like that challenger to be Joe Sestak!
If Joe wins the online vote, it could be worth tens of thousands of dollars
to his campaign to defeat Curt Weldon and re-claim Pennsylvania's 7th
Congressional District seat.
Many of you have met Joe Sestak. You know his backgroung, his military
service, his experience working next to President Bill Clinton in the White
House, and you know he can send Curt Weldon packing. You may not know that
the 7th district seat is no longer considered a safe Republican seat, and
that when Joe Sestak wins, Democrats will once again control Congress.

Delaware County Re-Organizing Convention
The Re-organizing Convention of the Delaware County Democratic
Committee is held every four years to elect a chairperson of the
county Democratic Party. All committee persons who are elected in the
Primary Election are eligibly to vote at the convention. The meeting will
be held on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at the Gauntlett Center
on West Chester Pike in Newtown Square. The meeting will be held in the
afternoon around 2:00 PM. An official meeting notice will be sent to all
eligibly committee person. If you are running for committee person, please
save the date and plan to attend.
