The Annual
Delaware County Democratic Nominating Convention will convene at 7 pm on
Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Paxon Hollow Country Club, Paxon Hollow Road
in Marple Township. Sign in begins at 6:30. The convention will nominate
candidates for the following offices:
United States
Senator
Governor
Lt. Governor
Congress
State Senator
State
Representative
The convention will consist of nominating speeches and candidates will also give remarks. All county committee members (regular, additional and ex-officio) are entitled to vote at the nominating convention. Non-committee members are welcome to attend as guests.
The convention will be preceded by a cocktail party at 6pm.
The cost is $25 per person and helps raise money to cover convention and
other party expenses. For tickets to the cocktail party, send a check to:

The Delaware County Environmental Summit is sponsored by the Environmental
Leadership Program and organized by Delaware County’s Concerned Citizens for
Environmental Change (DCCEC). Presentations will be given by local agencies
and non-profit organizations on air quality, water quality, land-use, and a
how-to session on becoming active in your town to address environmental issues
that affect your quality of life and the quality of life for your family. Many
presentations will be focusing on issues directly Delaware County.
