Republicans Give in, Will Debate

After years of phony excuses, this year's Republican candidates for Delaware County Council have finally given in and have agreed to debate their Democratic opponents. The debate will be held THIS WEDNESDAY, October 19, 2005.

The debate will be held at 7:30 PM in the auditorium at the Riddle Village Life Care Retirement Community on Route 1 in Lima, PA, across the street from the Granite Run Mall and next to Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Let's make sure we have a strong turnout of Democrats to support and cheer on our county council candidates, John Innelli and Nancy Baulis.

Note: The Chamber of Commerce Candidates' Forum held last Tuesday will be broadcast on Comcast channel 76 on Oct 17, 19, and 24 at 6pm; Oct. 21 and 28 at 5pm; and Nov. 2, 4 and 7 at 6pm.
