Canvassers are needed throughout the county for a GOTV project targeted towards Democrats with a poor voting history. If you can help on any weekend between now and Election Day please respond to this email!

Hoeffel Pre Debate Rally
 
Join the Hoeffel Campaign at a Pre-Debate Rally this coming Saturday. Last week, roughly 100 supporters showed up to cheer Joe on as he made his way into the studio in Pittsburgh for his first debate with Arlen Specter.  This week the campaign wants that number even higher for the Philadelphia debate.

Gettel to Face Off with Republican Opponent
 
The League of Women Voters of Radnor Township is planning a Candidates Forum for the 165th Legislative District on Tuesday, October 11, 2004 at 7:00 PM at the Radnor Township Building. Democratic candidate Dustin Gettel will be joined by his Republican opponent in this forum. Attend the forum and support our Democratic candidate. The 165th district includes Morton, Springfield, and portions of Marple and Radnor Townships.
 
Empty Chair or Empty Suit?
Scoles to Debate Absent Congressman
 
Congressman Curt Weldon who spends most of his time in Russia these days and is largely absent from his district and this campaign will also be absent from the League of Women Voters Debate. Democratic candidate Paul Scoles will face the libertarian candidate and an empty chair symbolizing Weldon's refusal to answer questions from his constituents. Show up in force at the debate and cheer on Paul Scoles!
