Clinton Picnic August 17
The 3rd annual Clinton Picnic will be held from 1 to 4pm on Sunday August
17, 2003 at Smedley Park, between the Blue Route and the Springfield Mall
off of Baltimore Pike in Springfield.
Bring a covered dish. Bring a beach chair and games. Hamburgers and hot
dogs, drinks and other refreshments will be provided. The picnic is free for
you and your friends and family.

Howard Dean Rally in Philadelphia
Democratic presidential candidates will be participating in a presidential
forum on August 11 at a meeting of the Sheetmetal workers union. Prior to
the forum, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean will address a rally on Independence

Volunteer for Voter Registration Drives
Several voter registration drives are being planned by the county Registration
Coordinator, Jason Marmon. Please consider volunteering for one:
Saturday, August 23rd – Millbourne
Anytime between 10 AM to 2 PM
Meet at Gehris Bowling, 6505 Market St (Rt. 3), Upper Darby
Sunday, September 7th – Colwyn
Anytime between 1 PM – 4 PM
Meet at 401 Thatcher Ave, Darby (Debbie Thomas’s house).
Everyone is encouraged to volunteer. Please pass the word to
those in
your municipality and beyond. Remember a new Democratic voter
anywhere in
the county helps all Democrats county wide and these locations were chosen
to give maximum positive impact for the party. Anyone interested
